In this article, you will learn how to easily access your client’s information in Workiz.

Workiz’s customer relationship management (CRM) makes it easy for you to track a client’s history and all the communications they’ve had with your team from wherever you are.

Workiz helps you keep a complete, clean, and organized client history. You can see your job history, past quotes, notes, invoices, and easily keep track of all payments.

How to view client details

  1. From the sidebar navigation, select Clients

  2. From the Clients page, select the client whose information you want to access

Finance tabs

The tabs at the top of the page will provide you with insight into the finances associated with this client. From here, you can view:

  • This client’s balance

  • This client’s overdue balance

  • The revenue associated with this client

  • The total number of estimates created for this client

Detail tabs

The client’s profile page will provide you with a single source for all of this client’s details. From this page, you can view the client’s:

  • Contact information

  • Properties

  • Jobs

  • Leads

  • Invoices

  • Payments

  • Estimates

  • Call history

Client information

The Client Info tab will provide you with access to the client’s contact information, among a few other features. From here, you can update the client’s name, phone number, email address, service and business addresses, and ad sources.

You can turn on Auto Invoicing to automatically send your client a batch of invoices after a certain amount of time. To learn more about Auto Invoicing, please see this article.

You can also update whether jobs linked to this client can be closed despite having an outstanding balance by turning the toggle switch under Allow Billing to YES or NO.

You can alter the client payment terms for this client by selecting the dropdown menu and choosing a payment window (i.e., if you want this client to pay within 14 days of sending an invoice, choose Net 14).

Properties

Your clients may have multiple properties that you provide services for. You can manage those properties from within the client page. The Properties tab will break down the number of jobs, outstanding balance, and total revenue linked to a specific property.

You can also add new properties from the Properties tab.

Jobs, leads, invoices, payments, and estimates

Select any one of these tabs to view the relevant history.

Additionally, the jobs, leads, invoices, and estimates tabs will show statuses to provide quick visibility of their development.

Calls

The Calls tab will show you a log of calls made to and from this client, as well as the call flow associated with the phone call.
