In this article, you will learn how to activate and begin using the Online Booking portal on your company website.
Online Booking is an essential part of any modern business, allowing customers to book service appointments through an online webpage — all with your real-time availability in mind.
IMPORTANT: Updating from from the old Online Booking portal to the new Online Booking portal will result in an updated and unique URL. If you are updating from the previous version to the new version, please be sure update your Online Booking links across all your relevant company pages.
Activating Online Booking
From the navigation bar, select the Marketplace
Under Add-Ons, find Online Booking and select Learn more
Toggle the switch above Feature not active to ON (green)
Using Online Booking on your website
While you can customize your Online Booking portal to include specific booking items and other aspects unique to your service business, customization is not required. In order to use the Online Booking portal on your website, you’ll need to embed it. Don’t worry — it’s actually pretty easy.
From the navigation bar, select Settings > Settings
Under Integrations, select Online Booking
Select Share Embed Code at the top of the page
Select Copy to clipboard
Select your website building company from the following list for instructions on how to insert an embed code for your specific website:
Note: Don’t see your website building company on the list above? Open a search engine and search How to embed [your website building company].
Sharing your Online Booking portal link directly with clients
If you’d prefer to use the Online Booking portal without having to host it on your website, you can also share the Online Booking portal link directly with your clients as well.
From the Online Booking settings page, select Copy URL Link
Paste the link in a message you want to send to a client
Adding items and services to your Online Booking portal
Now that you've customized your Online Booking portal, you can also add items and services. This will allow your customers to select the specific items and services they need, and ultimately allow you to provide the best service possible.
