In this article, you will learn how to begin charging your clients with Workiz Pay after activating your account.
Workiz Pay is a fast, simple, and secure online payment solution that enables you to collect credit card payments from your customers while on the job. Workiz Pay also makes sure you get paid on time — and even ahead of time — by allowing you to request payments on your estimates and invoices.

Using Workiz Pay on the Workiz mobile app
Using Workiz Pay on the mobile app is a great way to charge clients while out in the field. You can charge your customers in numerous ways using the mobile app.
Adding a payment on mobile
From the Workiz mobile app, select the job you want to charge using Workiz Pay
Select Pay > Charge
Enter the credit card information and select Submit
Tip: With Workiz card readers, you can easily collect payment without having to manually input the card information.

Sending invoices for payment on mobile
Once your Workiz Pay account has been activated, you will also be able to send invoices and estimates that feature an option to pay using a credit card.
From the job page on the mobile app, select the Finance tab
Select View invoice
Select the kebab menu (three dots) icon > Send Invoice
Complete the Send Invoice fields and select Send
Your estimates and invoices will feature payment fields for your client to enter their credit card information. To see what that looks like, please see this article.
Using Workiz Pay on desktop
The browser application also allows you to charge credit cards in several different ways.
Adding a payment to a job
Open the job you want to add a payment to
Select the Payments tab
Select Add payment
Ensure the Payment method field is set to Credit charge
Complete the credit card fields and select Add payment
Sending estimates and invoices on desktop
Once your Workiz Pay account has been activated, you will be able to send invoices and estimates that feature an option to pay using a credit card.
Open the estimate or invoice you want to send
Select Send Email or Send Text as desired
What your customers will see
Your customers will receive an email or text message that includes your message and a link to view the estimate or invoice in the Workiz customer portal. From the Workiz customer portal, they will see the option to pay using a credit card.
