Understanding phone registration requirements

In this article, you will learn about the various ways that you may need to register your phone numbers to use with the Workiz Communication Suite.

The Workiz Communication Suite (Workiz Phone and Message Center) was designed to organize your business communications all in one place. In order to be compliant with the various protocols designed for business communications within North America, you may need to verify your phone number using different registration forms.

A2P 10DLC

For businesses with local phone numbers that want to send text messages to consumers in the US.

Beginning September 2023, failing to register will result in text messages being undelivered to recipients.

Toll-Free Message Verification

For businesses with toll-free numbers that want to send text messages to consumers in the US and Canada.

Failing to register may result in text messages being undelivered to recipients.

Submit your registration details via our customer support chat.
Free Caller Registry

For businesses with phone numbers that have been designated illegitimate business numbers due to a history of spam-like activity (i.e., a high volume of unanswered calls and/or short call durations).

Failing to register may result in an immediate drop to outbound calls.
