Sharing Genius Marketing campaigns with franchise sub-accounts

  • Updated

Genius Marketing is currently available to a limited group of users. Details on broader access will be shared soon.

In this article, you will learn how to share Genius Marketing campaigns with your franchise sub-accounts.

Genius Marketing is an AI-powered add-on designed to simplify and automate customer outreach. It helps you generate more repeat jobs with less effort through targeted email and text campaigns based on your clients’ job history and activity.

When used with the Franchises add-on, you can easily share these campaigns across your sub-accounts to maintain consistency, support new locations, and drive results at scale. This streamlines your marketing efforts by removing the need for each location to build campaigns from scratch. Instead, you can create and manage campaigns at the HQ level, ensuring your messaging is consistent and sent exactly as intended across all sub-accounts.

Sharing marketing campaigns with sub-accounts

Before you can begin sharing Genius Marketing campaigns with your franchise locations, you will need:

  • Access to Genius Marketing (for both your account and sub-accounts)
  • Sub-accounts connected to your main account via the Franchises feature

Campaigns can be shared to sub-accounts in just a few steps.

  1. From sidebar menu, select Marketing
  2. Create a new template or select an existing one
  3. From the builder, select Actions > Apply to franchises

Your campaign will automatically be shared with all of the first-level sub-accounts within your franchise setup.

Please note that:

  • Only campaign content is shared. Audience filters and goal criteria are not included and must be configured separately at the sub-account level.
  • Campaigns are shared one level at a time. Child accounts will receive the campaign, but grandchild accounts will not. To share with a grandchild account, first switch to the child account, then share the campaign from there. To learn more about switching between sub-accounts, please see this article.
  • Shortcodes rely on sub-account settings. Any dynamic fields (e.g., {{account_googleListing}}) must be set up at the sub-account level. If no value is set, that part of the message will appear blank.
