In this article, you will learn how members of your team can log their hours in Workiz.
Workiz offers three different methods for logging time:
Clocking in for a job from the mobile app
Clocking in for the day on the web and mobile app
Manually adding time on the web app
Workiz also provides a Timesheets report you can use to track the time your team members are logging. To learn more about this report, please see this article.
Clocking for a job
The clock will begin to run. To clock out for this job, select Stop.
Once you log time for a job, the time will be visible from the Items tab on the job page on the web app.
Clocking in for the day

From the web app, select select Settings in the navigation bar
Next to your username, select the clock icon
Select Clock in
The clock will begin to run. You know you are logged in if the clock icon is green.

The clock will begin to run. You know you are logged in if the clock icon is green.
Manually adding time
Manually adding time to a job
Note: The option to manually add time to a job will not be present until after time was logged from the mobile app.
Open the job you want to add time to
Select the Items tab
Scroll down to Time tracking and select Add time
Complete the Create timesheet fields:
User: Select the team member you want to attach this time to
Time range: Select the date and time ranges you want to log
Shift notes: Add any relevant notes
Select Create

From the sidebar navigation, select Reports
Select Timesheets
Select Add time
Complete the Create timesheet fields:
User: Select the team member you want to attach this time to
Time range: Select the date and time ranges you want to log
Shift notes: Add any relevant notes
