In this article, we will explore creating marketing campaigns automatically with our AI Analyzer in Genius Marketing.
If you've ever stared at your customer list wondering what marketing campaign to send next, AI Analyzer does that thinking for you. It's a feature within Genius Marketing that:
- Scans your account's job and customer activity
- Surfaces ready-to-launch campaign opportunities
- Builds the campaign for you, so you don't need marketing experience to know what to do next
How to find your campaign recommendations
- From the sidebar menu, select Marketing
- On the Campaigns tab, find the Find & launch high-impact campaigns with AI banner near the top of the page
- Select Find My Next Campaign
AI Analyzer scans your account and returns a list of campaign opportunities ranked by revenue potential, along with the total number of contacts matched across all of them.
How AI Analyzer builds its recommendations
AI Analyzer looks for patterns in your account's job and customer history: things like how long it's been since a client last booked, whether a new lead has gone without a first contact, or whether a client canceled and never rebooked. It doesn't require any setup on your part; it works from the CRM data you already have in Workiz.
Each recommendation in the list is ranked by its estimated potential revenue, and shows:
- The campaign opportunity type
- Select an automated Workflow or a one-time Email
- A plain-language description of the pattern it found
- For example, "26 clients haven't booked in 6+ months"
- How many contacts match that pattern in your account
- The estimated potential revenue if you act on it
The kinds of opportunities you'll typically see include:
-
Lead follow-up
New leads that have gone a while without a first contact -
Re-engagement
Clients who haven't booked in several months -
Win-back
Contacts who inquired but never booked, or who canceled a job and haven't rebooked since -
Loyalty/anniversary
Clients approaching a job anniversary (for example, one to three years since their last job)
View Why this now pop-up to learn more about your campaign suggestions, including an explanation, the size of the matched audience, the average job value, and the total potential revenue window.
Building and sending a recommended campaign
Once you're ready to act on an opportunity, AI Analyzer builds the campaign for you automatically. You'll see a short progress list as it works (analyzing trends, structuring the campaign strategy, generating written copy, crafting headlines and Calls-To-Action, and so on). No manual setup is required.
The campaign is created as a draft so you can review and adjust it before it goes out. Make any edits needed, then select Send to send it right away, or use the dropdown next to Send to Schedule send for later. Until you send or schedule it, the draft appears alongside your other campaigns on the Blast tab (single-send campaigns) or the Automated tab (workflow campaigns).
Workflow opportunities open as a multi-step automated campaign in the campaign builder, already populated with an entry point (with the matching filters applied), emails, wait periods, and conditional branches
Email opportunities open as a single email campaign, with an Audience section showing who it applies to and a Content section with an editable subject line, sender display name, and a live preview of the email. You can select Generate with AI to regenerate the content.
Before sending an email campaign, select Test campaign to send a free test email to yourself or up to 10 recipients. The test fills in sample data for any merge fields (like a client's first name) so you can see exactly what your clients will receive before it goes out.
Either way, the campaign is created as a draft so you can review and adjust it before it goes out. Make any edits needed, then select Send to send it right away, or use the dropdown next to Send to Schedule send for later. Until you send or schedule it, the draft appears alongside your other campaigns on the Blast tab (single-send campaigns) or the Automated tab (workflow campaigns).
Because AI Analyzer bases its suggestions on patterns in your account's existing job and customer history, accounts with limited activity or history may see fewer recommendations (or none at all) until there's enough data to work from.
