Additional charges may still occur, including:
- On-demand usage (e.g., Workiz Phone, Genius Answering)

Canceling your phone plan does not automatically remove existing phone numbers that were previously claimed.
This is intentional and helps prevent business disruption. If numbers were automatically released as part of the cancellation, they could return to the public pool and become unavailable for recovery. This could create major issues if those numbers are still being used by your business or printed on marketing materials, vehicles, or signage.
Any phone numbers that remain on your account after canceling your phone plan will continue to be billed until they are manually removed.
If you no longer need those numbers, remove them from your account to stop future charges.
- Phone numbers can be removed from your account in just a few steps.
- From the sidebar menu, select Workiz Phone
- Select the Numbers tab
- Next to the phone number you want to remove, select the trash bin icon
- The "renew calltracking balance" charges refers to the charges your business sees for on-demand phone usage. These will occur as frequently as needed based on your on-demand settings and usage.
-
When a dispute is created by your client, your business will be charged a non-refundable $25 USD/$20 CAD fee.
These fees are issued by the payment processor (not Workiz) and are applied regardless of the outcome. This means that even if you win the dispute, the fee cannot be refunded.

Seats & users
- Check your available seats before adding new users to your account.
- In the Billing page, expand the dropdown next to Workiz plan
- Review the user count
-
All Workiz plans include a set number of seats, which determines how many users you can have on your account.
You can add users at no additional cost as long as you stay within your available seats. For example, if your plan includes 10 seats and you currently have 5 users, you can add up to 5 more users without additional charges.
If you exceed your available seats, additional users will require purchasing more seats, which will increase your plan cost. You will be presented with a checkout page whenever a new user requires additional seats.
The price per seat can be found in the Billing page next to the Workiz Plan line item.
-
Removing users does not reduce the number of seats on your account or lower your price during your contract term.
If you increase your seat count, your billing will increase accordingly and remain at that level through the end of your contract — even if users are later removed.
To reduce your seat count and cost, you can make changes ahead of your contract renewal so they take effect in the next billing cycle.
