In this article, you will learn how to make all estimate deposits optional for your clients.
Normally, when you request a deposit on an estimate, your client needs to pay it before approving. But not every client can or wants to pay right away. Workiz gives you the flexibility to let clients approve estimates first and pay the deposit later.
Allowing optional deposits on estimates
In order to collect deposits online, you will need to be set up with Workiz Pay. To learn more about signing up for Workiz Pay, please see this article.
- From the sidebar menu, select Workiz Pay
- Select My account
- Under Payment policy, turn the toggle switch on for Make deposits optional
- Select Save
What your clients will see
Now, when approving estimates online, your client will see the option to approve and pay later.
