In this article, you will learn how to use Workiz on a tablet.
Just like on your phone, you can use Workiz on your iPad, Galaxy Tab, or other Android tablet in two ways — by downloading the Workiz mobile app from your device’s app store, or by accessing the web app through your tablet’s browser.
Keep in mind that only paid users can access the Workiz web and mobile apps. Subcontractors will not have access to either.
Accessing the mobile app on your tablet
You can download and install the Workiz mobile app directly from your device's app store, available for both phones and tablets. Unlike the mobile app on phones, the tablet version supports both portrait and landscape mode.
- From your tablet, go to your device's app store (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, etc.)
- Install the Workiz mobile app
- Once installed, launch the Workiz mobile app
- Log in using your username and password
Accessing the web app on your mobile web browser
While the mobile web app can be useful in a pinch if you need quick access to your account on the go, it’s primarily designed for desktop use. Some features may not be available or may not display correctly on smaller screens. That said, the mobile web version may offer a few features that aren’t available in the mobile app.
For the best overall experience on mobile, we still recommend using the Workiz mobile app.
