In this article, you will learn how to send automated notifications to your team and clients whenever a job is rescheduled.

Workiz Automations is a Feature Center tool designed to send automatic notifications to your team and clients based on certain conditions you define. This feature is designed to save you time, prevent job cancellations, and help scale your business with less effort.

Creating automations for rescheduled jobs

  1. From the top navigation bar, select Workiz Automations
  2. Under Follow-ups, select the Job rescheduled / Client notification template

When your automation will be triggered

If a job has already been scheduled, any changes to the job schedule will trigger your automation. If the job has not been previously scheduled, scheduling it for the first time will not trigger the automation.

If a job is rescheduled multiple times, and your automation is set to trigger immediately, it will run each time the job is rescheduled.

However, if your automation is set to trigger after a delay, it will only run based on the most recent reschedule. Earlier triggers will be ignored, ensuring the action only happens once — based on the latest update.
