This helps your team stay informed about a client’s past jobs, so they can show up better prepared and avoid repeating work. Technicians will only see history for clients they’re currently assigned to, keeping everything relevant and secure. It’s a simple way to improve service without compromising privacy.
Enabling the 'Client job history' permission
Technician access to a client’s service history is managed at the role level. When you enable this permission for a specific role, it applies to all users assigned to that role.
Don't want all your techs to have this access?
Create a custom role for just the team members who need it. This gives you more control over who can view client history.
- From the top navigation bar, select your profile icon > Settings
- Under Users & roles, select Roles & permissions
- Select the role you want to update (e.g., Tech)
- Ensure the Clients permission is turned on
- Ensure the Jobs report permission is turned on
- Turn the Client job history permission on
- Select Save
Accessing a client's job history on mobile
When assigned to a job, your technicians will be able to view past jobs your team has performed for that client. They will only see jobs that have been marked done.
- From the mobile app, open a job
- Next to the client's name, select View client details
- Select Jobs to view past done jobs
