Using your Genius AI voice assistant on mobile (Hey Genius)

  • Updated

This feature is currently only available to users who are part of the beta program.

We're not currently accepting new beta users for this feature.

In this article, you will learn how to use Hey Genius — your Genius AI voice assistant on the Workiz mobile app.

With a simple voice command, you can use Hey Genius to check job details, update information, and send quick messages to clients — all without typing. It's a faster, easier way to stay on top of your work while on the go.

What you can ask your AI assistant

Here are a list of things you can ask your AI assistant to do for you:

Time tracking
  • Clock in, clock out
  • Check clock-in/out status
Client & job management
  • Open client profile page
  • Open job/lead page
  • Request job/lead details (e.g., items, assigned techs, status, address, invoice, custom fields, tasks, etc.)
  • Add notes to jobs/leads
  • Reschedule jobs/leads
  • Ask for jobs/leads on the schedule
Estimates & invoice management
  • Request estimate/invoice details (e.g., items payments, sent status)
Communications
  • Send client "on my way" or "running late" messages

Hey Genius works in both English and Spanish — no need to change the default language in your device settings. And while every team member can use this feature, the information your voice assistant provides will match the user's permission level. For example, users without permission to view other team members’ jobs will only be able to access information for jobs assigned to them.
