Connecting Workiz to apps using Zapier

Enabling the Workiz API add-on

In order to connect Workiz to Zapier, you will need to have access to the developer API. This will allow you to obtain API keys that are required to complete the connection between Workiz and NiceJob. 

1. From the navigation bar, select the Feature Center
2. Under Add-ons, select Developer API
3. Turn the toggle switch on/off to enable/disable the add-on

Activating a Zap to link Workiz and NiceJob

Workiz offers several pre-built Zaps that you can enable with just a few clicks, including a few that easily connect Workiz and NiceJob.

1. From the navigation bar, select your profile icon > Settings
2. Under Integrations, select Zapier
3. Select one of the pre-built Zaps for NiceJob:
   
   1. Enroll contacts in NiceJob when new Workiz jobs are done

   2. Create contacts in NiceJob when a new job is created in Workiz

4. From the pop-up, log in to Zapier

Connecting your Workiz account

To begin setting up the Zap, you will first need to allow Zapier to connect to your Workiz account. Here, you will provide the API credentials that you unlocked after enabling the Developer API add-on. 

1. Under Account, select Sign in 
   
2. Enter your Workiz API credentials
   
3. Select Yes, continue to Workiz
4. Select Continue
5. Select Test trigger

Connecting your NiceJob account

After connecting your Workiz account, you will need to follow a similar process to connect your NiceJob account. 

1. Under Account, select Sign in
   
2. Enter your login credentials for NiceJob and select Log in
3. Map the available Workiz fields to the fields from NiceJob
4. Test and publish your Zap

Workiz and NiceJob will begin syncing data based on your selected triggers and actions, helping streamline your workflow automatically.

Creating a custom Zap between Workiz and NiceJob

Want more flexibility? You can also create your own custom Zaps between Workiz and NiceJob. Set up workflows that match your exact needs — like enrolling a contact in a NiceJob campaign when a new job is created in Workiz, or creating a lead in Workiz when a review is submitted in NiceJob.
