In this article, you will learn how to create set additional contacts as billing contacts for your clients.
Sometimes, your main client contact isn’t the only person involved in a job. You may need to communicate with an office manager, assistant, or accountant — especially when it comes to estimates and invoices. With Workiz, you can add these additional contacts and designate who should receive billing-related emails.
Adding a billing contact
- Open the profile of the client you want to edit
- Next to Additional contacts, select the + icon
- Create your additional contact:
- Name
- Contact (e.g., phone, email)
- Role
- Address
- Set as billing contact
You must have an email saved for this additional contact in order for them to receive billing-related emails.
- Select Add contact
This contact will automatically be CC'd on billing-related emails.
What you will see
After setting a billing contact, this person will automatically be CC'd whenever you send estimates or invoices through Workiz. They will be able to access the estimate or invoice from the client portal and submit payment.
