Using Genius Replies to instantly respond to messages and book new jobs

In this article, you will learn how to use Genius Replies to automatically respond to incoming texts and emails — helping you book more jobs without lifting a finger.

Genius Replies is an AI-powered messaging tool capable of responding to all of your incoming texts and emails. It can talk to your customers about the services they need, ask all the right questions, and add new jobs to your schedule. 

How Genius Replies handles your messages will depend on your Genius Answering settings. For example, if you do not want Genius Replies to provide pricing for on-site estimates, you must first configure that in your Genius Answering settings.

Enabling Genius Replies

  1. From the sidebar menu, select Genius AI
  2. From the Genius Answering tab, select Settings
  3. Select Messaging
  4. Turn the toggle switch on for Use Jessica to respond to incoming messages
  5. Configure your Genius Replies agent

    1. Respond to messages sent via: Choose what types of messages you want your AI agent to respond to (e.g., texts and/or emails)
    2. Respond to messages from: Choose whether you want your AI agent to respond to incoming messages from existing clients and/or new clients
    3. Respond after: Set how long your AI agent should wait before responding to a message (i.e., how much time do you want to give your team to respond before your AI agent jumps in?)
    4. Select Save

What you will see

Genius Replies will begin responding to new incoming messages in the Message Center. The message bubbles for AI-generated replies will have a distinct appearance from the ones that your human team members, making it easy for you to understand which ones were sent using Genius Replies.
