Changing the language on the Workiz mobile app (English, Spanish)

  • Updated

In this article, you will learn how to change the language in the Workiz mobile app on your phone or tablet.

Workiz supports two different languages for the mobile app: English and Spanish.

By default, the mobile app will always adapt to the primary language set up on your mobile device. That means that if your device's operating system is set to Spanish, the Workiz mobile app will display in Spanish.

If you prefer to use the app in a language different from your device’s default, you can update your language preference directly in your device settings.

Workiz does not offer native support for languages other than English for the web app. You may use browser extensions like Google Translate to translate the web app content into your preferred language.

Please keep in mind that the app is optimized for use in English, and using translation tools may affect how the interface appears or functions.

Device requirements

  • iOS (Apple devices)
Spanish is available on all iOS devices running the latest version of iOS.
  • Android

Spanish availability depends on your phone model and Android version (typically requires Android 14 or later). On most devices, if your system language is set to Spanish, the app will also display in Spanish. Some devices may not fully support app-level translations. In those cases, the app will default to English even if your phone is set to Spanish.

This limitation is caused by the device manufacturer and Android build. Our support team may not be able to resolve this issue if your device doesn't apply the Spanish translation.

Changing the language on your Workiz mobile app

The steps below are specifically for team members using an iPhone. While they may provide general guidance for team members with an Android device, the setup process differs slightly. For for detailed Android instructions, please see this article.

  1. From the mobile app, select the bars icon ( ) > Settings
  2. Under App language, select Change

    AppLanguage-Change.png
  4. Choose English or Spanish

    Please be aware that:

    • You will only see the option to change your preferred language for a specific app if you already have multiple languages set up for your device operating system.
    • Workiz only supports English and Spanish. Choosing anything other than Spanish (i.e., English, French, Hebrew, etc.) will automatically display the Workiz mobile app in English.

You may need to restart the mobile app before the language is updated.
