Connecting Workiz and JB Warranties

This feature is currently only available to users who are part of the beta program.

In this article, you will learn how to connect your Workiz account with JB Warranties. 

With the JB Warranties integration, you will be able to easily create new warranty agreements right from Workiz jobs. This makes for a smooth and connected experience between both platforms.

Enabling the JB Warranties integration

To get started with JB Warranties, you will need to enable the integration from the Feature Center in Workiz.

  1. From the top navigation bar, select the Feature Center
  2. Select JB Warranties

  3. Turn the toggle switch on to enable the integration

This is where you will find your JB Warranties API token. A member of the JB Warranties team will ask you for this token during the integration setup process.

Connecting Workiz and JB Warranties

How you proceed will depend on whether you are a new OR existing dealer with JB Warranties.

You do not need to complete both sections below.

New dealers only Existing dealers only

Once the enabled the add-on, you will need to:

  1. Complete a new dealer account registration form with JB Warranties

After submitting the form, you will be contacted by a member of the JB Warranties team to complete registration. 

Once you are set up as a JB Warranties dealer and your two accounts are connected, you can begin adding warranty items to your Workiz price book. To learn more about this process, please see this article.

After enabling the add-on, existing dealers will need to:

  1. Fill out an existing dealers form
  2. Book a meeting with JB Warranties 

After completing the steps above, you will be contacted by a member of the JB Warranties team to complete your integration setup.
