In this article, you will learn how to generate one-time PIN codes when requesting assistance from Workiz support.
When reaching out to our support team, you may occasionally be asked to provide a one-time PIN code for identity verification, especially when contacting support by phone.
PIN codes help us quickly confirm your identity and determine your access level, ensuring your account remains secure and protected from unauthorized changes.
Understanding PIN codes
PIN codes are generated for each individual user, not just the Workiz account itself. They help verify both your identity and access level, ensuring you’re authorized to request certain changes.
Each PIN code is a one-time use code that expires after 20 minutes. These codes are not permanent identifiers and cannot be reused for future support interactions. If your PIN expires, simply generate a new one.
