In this article, you will learn how to automatically generate new leads in Workiz whenever you receive service request emails.
As a field service business, you may receive lead information in a number of different ways, like website emails, warranty requests, and even emails directly from a third-party lead provider. With Genius Leads, you can now automatically create new leads in Workiz whenever you receive one of those emails.

With automated lead creation, you can focus more on closing deals and providing top-notch service, while Workiz handles the tedious task of tracking incoming leads for you.
Enabling the add-on
- From the navigation bar, select the Feature Center
Not seeing the Feature Center icon in the navigation bar? You may not have the correct permissions set for your user.
Please contact your account admin and ask them to turn on the Account Settings permission for your user type from the Roles & Permissions settings page.
- Select Genius Leads
- Select Get started
Pin your favorite features to the sidebar menu for quick access. Features that aren’t pinned won’t appear in the sidebar and can be found in the settings menu.
Enabling Genius Leads will also automatically enable the standard Leads add-on.
Creating a new Genius Lead rule
- From the sidebar menu, select Genius AI
- Select the Genius Leads tab
- From the Genius Leads tab, select Create new
- Create your rule:
- Rule name: Enter a name for your new rule
- Sender's domain: Enter the specific email address OR email domain (with the @ symbol) where leads are coming from (e.g., @yelp.com, @facebook.com, etc.)
- Lead source: Choose the lead source that will be applied to these leads
- Response to the sender: Enter a brief confirmation message that will be automatically sent to the sender after an email is received
- Select Create
Receiving new leads
After creating your rule, your lead provider can begin sending emails to your Message Center email address to automatically create new leads.

In order to successfully create a new lead with Genius Leads, the emails received from this domain must include:
- Client name
- Client phone or email
What you'll see
After setting up your Genius Leads rule, future incoming emails will be visible from your Message Center. Emails that were automatically converted into new leads will be labeled accordingly.
Reviewing your Genius Leads performance
Over time, you will be able to track the performance of your Genius Leads, including the number of leads generated, jobs created, and revenue earned over the past 30 days. This dashboard provides valuable insights to help you monitor your lead generation efforts and optimize your business strategies.
