Creating events to manage non-job activities on your schedule

  • Updated

In this article, you will learn how to add events to your schedule to help you manage non-job related tasks in your day to day.

Events are designed to help you stay on top of activities that aren't related to jobs on your schedule, such as meetings, personal appointments, or administrative tasks. This is a great way of keeping your entire day organized in one place, ensuring you never miss important commitments while maintaining clear separation from job-related activities.

Need to track activities related to more complex jobs? You can do this using the Tasks add-on from the Feature Center. To learn more about enabling the add-on, please see this article.

Creating events on the web app (desktop)

Events are enabled for all Workiz accounts by default. New events can be created right from the sidebar menu.

  1. From the sidebar menu, select Create new Event

  2. Create your event:

    7. Select Add event

This event will now be added to your Workiz schedule.
