Customizing your sidebar menu allows you to streamline your workflow by keeping your most-used features front and center. With quick access to essential tools, you’ll save time navigating and stay focused on what matters most for managing your tasks efficiently.
Pinning features to your sidebar menu
Adding features to your sidebar menu is a simple process that can be done right from the Feature Center.
- From the navigation bar, select the Feature Center
- Select the feature you want to pin to your sidebar menu
- Select Pin to menu
You will only be able to pin features that have dedicated pages within Workiz. Features that do not have pages (e.g., Tasks, subcontractors, etc.) cannot be pinned to your sidebar menu.
- Close the Feature Center
Your pinned feature will now be added to the "Features" section at the bottom of your sidebar menu.
Unpinning features from your sidebar menu
Removing features from your sidebar menu can be done with just a click.
- From the Features section of the sidebar menu, hover over the feature you want to remove and select the unpin icon
- Repeat Step 1 for the remaining features you want to remove
This feature will be removed from your sidebar menu.
Pinning limitations
When customizing your sidebar menu, please note:
- While you can easily add or remove features, they cannot be reordered. The order of pinned features is preset and does not follow the order in which they were pinned.
- Certain features, like Workiz Pay and Leads, are fixed in the upper sections of the sidebar menu once enabled. Only features in the “Features” section at the bottom can be unpinned.
