In this article, you will learn how to disable your online booking portal to help prevent users from scheduling your services online.
Once the online booking add-on is enabled from the Feature Center, it cannot be disabled for your account. However, you can take other steps to prevent your booking portal from being accessible to potential clients online.
To help prevent clients from submitting booking requests online:
- Removing all links and embed codes that lead to your booking page
- Removing your booking link from Google search results
Removing booking links and embed codes
Before disabling your booking portal in Workiz, you will want to ensure that access to your portal is no longer available in places that it's been shared. That includes removing access from:
- Websites where you inserted an embed code
- Websites where you shared the URL
Removing your booking link from Google search results
After removing the embed codes and URLs across all of your websites and social media pages, you will want to ensure that you prevent your booking page from being accessible from Google search results.
- From the navigation bar, select the profile icon > Settings
- Under Integrations, select Online booking
- At the bottom of the page, select Reserve with Google
- Turn the toggle switch off for Enable Reserve with Google
