In this article, you will learn how to expand the reach of your online booking portal by connecting your Workiz account to Google using our supported integrations: Reserve with Google and Google Local Services Ads.
These integrations will ensure your page is connected to your business profile when clients search for services on Google Search, Google Maps, and Google Assistant. To use these integrations, you will need an existing Google Business Profile.
In order to use Workiz’s integration with Google Local Services, your business must have a Google Guarantee badge.

Reserve with Google vs Google Local Services Ads
With Workiz, you can connect your online booking page to Google through two integrations: Reserve with Google and Google Local Services Ads.
Once set up, all accounts are automatically connected to Reserve with Google at no cost, helping potential clients find you through organic Google searches. If you have a paid Google Local Services Ads account, your booking page can also support paid search for even greater visibility.
The setup process in the booking page is designed to handle both integrations simultaneously. After completing setup, Workiz will automatically check for an active Google Local Services Ads account and connect it if available.
If an active Google Local Services Ads account is found, Workiz will connect your booking page to both Reserve with Google and Google Local Services Ads. If no Google Local Services Ads account is found, your booking page will still connect to Reserve with Google for free.
Linking your booking page to Google
- From the sidebar menu, select Online booking
- Select Google integrations
- Turn the toggle switch on
- Enter your business details exactly as they appear on your Google Business Profile (e.g., business name, address, etc.)
- Set up your job types:
- Choose one of your Workiz job types and map it to a default service suggested by Google
- Enter an estimate price for this service
- Select Save
It will take about 48 hours for your accounts to be connected or disconnected.
What clients will see
Clients will search for services that you offer directly on Google. When your business fits their search terms, they will see a booking option that redirects straight to your Workiz booking portal.
What you will see
You will be notified of new bookings (whether through Reserve with Google or Local Services Ads) through your Message Center. Depending on how you have your booking page set up, new bookings can either come in as requests that require approval or automatically added as new jobs.
