Respond faster to leads and close more jobs with Thumbtack​

In this article, you will learn about how to use Workiz’s Thumbtack integration to quickly respond to leads and close more jobs. 

Thumbtack is a popular third-party technology company that helps connect millions of people with home service businesses like yours. Every day, potential customers go to Thumbtack looking for service pros to help them with home services. Customers simply search for the services they need and are presented with various companies that can help get the job done. 

How the Thumbtack integration works

Workiz integrates directly with Thumbtack to help give you an edge over your competitors. After connecting the two platforms, leads from Thumbtack will automatically be sent to your Workiz Message Center, allowing you to be the first to respond and win the job. 

Your Message Center will display most of the information necessary for you to make a decision. You’ll also be able to respond directly to this prospective client to keep all of your communications organized in the same place.

If you choose to add the Thumbtack lead as a lead or job, Workiz will automatically populate all of the lead/job details that were already provided via Thumbtack. 

Tracking your Thumbtack revenue

After enabling the integration, any jobs/leads created directly from a Thumbtack lead will automatically be assigned an ad group of Thumbtack. This will help you automatically track all of the revenue that you’ve generated from Thumbtack leads on your Job Statistics report, giving you a clear understanding of your ROI.

Connecting Workiz and Thumbtack

  1. From the top navigation bar, select the Feature Center/Marketplace
  2. Under Integrations, select Thumbtack
  3. Turn the toggle switch on/off to enable/disable the add-on
  4. Select Connect Thumbtack
  5. Choose your Thumbtack account and select Confirm connection

Connecting multiple Thumbtack businesses

Workiz allows you to connect multiple businesses as long as the businesses exist under the same Thumbtack account. You will not be able to connect multiple separate Thumbtack accounts to a single Workiz account. If you have multiple accounts with separate logins (i.e., usernames, passwords), you will not be able to connect them all to the same Workiz account.

To connect additional Thumbtack businesses, you can follow a similar process as described above. Simply select a different business when choosing your Thumbtack business.
