In this article, you will learn how to disable credit cards as a payment option for estimates and invoices.
After signing up for Workiz Pay, credit cards will automatically be set as a payment option for all estimates and invoices in the client portal. To prevent clients from paying via credit card, you may disable this payment option on a per-estimate/invoice basis.
- Open the estimate or invoice you want to send
- Select Send
- Under Let client pay with, uncheck the box for Credit card
- Select Send email or Send text
Your client will still be able to access the client portal and make a payment using any other approved payment options you have enabled (e.g., bank transfer, consumer financing, etc.).
You can disable bank transfers (ACH) as a payment method using the steps above. However, due to legal requirements, consumer financing via Sunbit or Wisetack cannot be disabled for specific clients.
