Understanding commission payout reports

  • Updated

In this article, you will learn how to access and gain clarity of your commission payouts with Performance Pay.

Performance Pay is Workiz’s easy-to-use solution for incentivizing and rewarding your team based on their performance metrics. With Performance Pay, you can create custom commission rules that specify how your team is rewarded for their achievements. You can set up rewards for upselling line items on a job, completing a job, and even creating a job.

After creating commission rules and assigning them to members of your team, Workiz will automatically recognize when the rules should be applied and implement them accordingly.

Viewing Performance Pay data

Commissions will only be displayed across jobs and reports when the job has been marked done.

Not seeing a commission payout? You may have not assigned the rule to members of your team. To learn more about assigning commission rules to team members, please see this article.

On individual jobs

After creating your commission rules, all relevant jobs will include a section that displays performance pay information. This section will only be displayed once the job has been marked done.

  1. Open the job you want to review
  2. Select the Items tab
  3. Scroll down to Performance Pay

From a job page, you'll also have the option to edit an individual commission payout as a one-time override of your commission rule.

Performance Pay report

After enabling the Performance Pay add-on, you will receive access to a dedicated report where you can review all of the jobs that qualify for performance-based commissions and see the corresponding payouts owed. This report will display the total commissions owed to each team member, along with the individual commission details that contribute to the total amount.

  1. From the sidebar menu, select Reports
  2. Select Performance Pay
