How to block unwanted callers

In this article, you will learn how to block numbers in Workiz Phone.

Whether you want to prevent calls from spammers, telemarketers, or other unwanted individuals, you can easily block a number using Workiz.

This article will focus on blocking specific phone numbers. If you are experiencing a high volume of spam calls, we recommend converting your basic call flow into a voice menu call flow (i.e., press 1 for..., press 2 for..., etc.).

Blocking from the settings page

Workiz has a dedicated page for adding numbers that you want to block. 

  1. From the sidebar navigation, select Calls
  2. Next to Monitor calls, select the sliders icon ( ) > Blocked callers

  3. Select Block a number
  4. Enter the details for the number you want to block:
    1. Number
    2. (Optional) Description
    3. Select Block

Blocking from a call log

Alternatively, you can also block a number directly from your call logs. Numbers blocked using this method will also appear on the Blocked Callers settings page.  

  1. From the sidebar navigation, select Calls
  2. Select the call from the number you want to block
  3. From the call details side pane, select the plus icon ( ) > Block caller

  4. Select Confirm
