In this article, you will learn how to resolve the microphone permission error while trying to use the Workiz Phone on both desktop and mobile.

In order to use the Workiz Phone, you must first provide your web browser and mobile device with access to your microphone (audio).

Enabling microphone access on desktop

Desktop browsers (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) require permission to access your device's camera (video) and microphone (audio) on a per-website basis. This means you will need to provide your desktop browser with camera/microphone permission for each website you visit (e.g., Workiz, Facebook, Zoom, etc.).
