Offering discounts can be done in just a few steps, but the procedures will vary slightly depending on whether you want to offer a discount to a job, or to an estimate and invoice.
This article will focus on how to manually apply discounts to individual jobs, estimates, and invoices.

Offering discounts on mobile

- Open the job you want to add a discount to
- Select the Finance tab
- Select Job items
- Under Subtotal, select Discount
- Create your discount:
- Choose whether the discount should be applied as a dollar amount or a percentage of the total cost
- Enter the dollar amount or percentage you want to discount
- Select Save

- Open the estimate or invoice you want to add a discount to
- Select Items
- Under Subtotal, select Discount
- Create your discount:

When applied to an estimate or invoice, the discount will be visible on the document from the Workiz client portal.
