In this article, you will learn how to view your schedule on Workiz.
The Workiz schedule is capable of giving you as much information as your workflow demands. The schedule can be customized to give you a broad overview of your business’s month, or a detailed look into the jobs scheduled for a particular day.
Ways to view your schedule
Workiz offers several different ways to view your schedule, allowing you to choose the one that works best for you and your workflow.
- From the sidebar menu, select Schedule
- Select one of the following tabs to change the schedule viewing mode:
- Day
- Week
- Month
- Timeline
- Timeline Week
Day view
The Day view provides you with a clear picture of all the jobs you have scheduled for a particular day. The hourly schedule is oriented vertically so that the start of your day is at the top of the schedule.
Jobs will appear in specific colors to match the color assigned to the individual technicians on your team.
Week view
The Week view provides a view of all the jobs you have scheduled for a particular week. Like the Day view, the schedule is oriented vertically so that the start of your day is at the top of the schedule. The Week view features the ability to view a week’s worth of jobs.
Month view
The Month view provides you with visibility of all the jobs scheduled for a particular month. It won’t provide you with as much detail as the Day or Week view, but it does give you a broad overview of what to expect for any given month to make sure your business is on track.
Timeline view
The Timeline view is an alternative to the Day view, except the hourly schedule is oriented horizontally so that the start of your day is on the left of the schedule. This also provides you with greater visibility of the schedules of your technicians so that you can easily determine who has availability in the event of an emergency job.
Timeline Week view
Like the Timeline view, the Timeline Week view provides you with a horizontal view of your schedule. Except, instead of seeing jobs broken down by the hour, they are sorted into the days of the week and aligned by technician.
