Why your QuickBooks Desktop sync is ‘stuck’

Why is the syncing process ‘stuck’?

During the syncing process, you may notice that the Application Progress bar reaches 30% and stays there for an extended period of time.

While many users understandably believe an error has occurred, this is expected behavior for QuickBooks Desktop. It is not stuck. The progress bar will remain at 30% until it suddenly reaches 100%.

Syncing times may vary depending on a number of factors, making it difficult to predict how long it will remain at 30%.
