In this article, you will learn how to set up external forwarding for text messages sent to your Workiz Phone number.

With the Workiz mobile app installed on your mobile device and notifications enabled, you can make sure that your device receives an alert whenever your Workiz account receives a message. You can view those messages within the Message Center on the mobile app.

But Workiz also makes it simple to forward the text messages your business receives to other external phone numbers, sending those messages to your mobile device's internal SMS inbox.

Forwarding incoming texts to external numbers

  1. From the navigation bar, select Settings > Settings

  2. Under Calls & texts, select Text messages

  3. In the Forwarding incoming messages field, enter the external phone number you want to forward messages to

    Tip: To enter multiple external phone numbers, select the + icon and enter one number per field.

  4. Select Save settings

Text messages sent to your company will now be forwarded to the external phone numbers you entered.
