In this article, you will learn how to set a fallback phone number in the event of a rare Workiz Phone outage.
Workiz Phone is a one-of-a-kind phone system designed for field service pros, enabling you to easily create complex call flows, keep tabs on your team with call monitoring, and monitor your ad performance with call tracking.
In extremely rare situations, Workiz Phone may experience outages that may otherwise prevent your business from receiving calls as it typically would. You can limit the impact these outages may have on your business by providing an external fallback number.
In the event of a Workiz Phone outage, Workiz will automatically forward calls to your fallback number. You will hear a whisper message stating that the fallback number was used to make the call.
Setting your fallback number
From the navigation bar, select Settings > Account
Under Account, turn the toggle switch under Fallback phone ON
Enter your phone number into the Fallback phone field
IMPORTANT: This must be an external phone number different from your Workiz Phone number.
