In Workiz, a lead is considered a potential job — not a potential customer. A lead can be used to:

  • Store information for a potential job

  • Schedule an on-site visit to make a quote for a potential job

How to convert a lead into a job

If a client has decided they aren't interested in scheduling a job with your business, you can easily mark the lead as lost.

  1. From the sidebar navigation, select Leads

  2. Select the lead you want to mark as lost

  3. Select Actions > Mark as lost

    Tip: You can mark multiple leads as lost at the same time using bulk actions.

Once you mark a lead as lost, it will no longer appear on the Leads page. Lost leads will appear in the Leads report when filtering results by a status of Lost.
