In this article, you will learn how to mark leads as lost, allowing you to develop an accurate conversion rate for your business.

In Workiz, a lead is considered a potential job โ€” not a potential customer. A lead can be used to:

  • Store information for a potential job

  • Schedule an on-site visit to make a quote for a potential job

How to convert a lead into a job

Note: In order to mark leads as lost, you will first need to enable the Leads add-on from the Marketplace.

If a client has decided they aren't interested in scheduling a job with your business, you can easily mark the lead as lost.

  1. Open the lead you want to mark as lost

  2. Select Actions > Mark as lost

Once you mark a lead as lost, it will no longer appear on the Leads page. Lost leads will appear in the Leads report when filtering results by a status of Lost.
