In this article, you will learn how to create custom statuses for leads in Workiz.

While parent statuses for jobs cannot be customized in Workiz, statuses for leads can be tailored to fit your company's exact workflow.

How to create custom lead statuses

Note: In order to create lead statuses, you will first need to enable the add-on from the Workiz Marketplace. To learn more about enabling the add-on, please see this article.

  1. From the navigation bar, select Settings > Settings

  2. Under General settings, select Lead status

  3. Select Add status

  4. Enter a name for your custom status and select Save

Your custom status will be added to the list of default statuses for leads.

Tip: All recently created leads will have a default status of New. To change the initial status for new leads, drag your desired status to the top of the list.
