In this article, you will learn how to create and send estimates using the Workiz mobile app.

Creating an estimate

There are two ways to create estimates on the mobile app: standalone estimates and estimates created from a job. Your role and/or permissions may determine how you can create estimates.

Creating an estimate from a job

  1. From the Workiz app, select the job you want to create an estimate for

  2. Select the Finance tab

  3. Next to Estimates, select the + icon

  4. Next to Items, select the + icon

  5. Choose an existing item from the list of items and services or select New to create a new item

  6. Adjust the quantity as desired and select Save

  7. Repeat Steps 4–6 until you have added all of the items you want to include for this estimate

Creating a standalone estimate

  1. From the Workiz app, select the menu icon > Estimates

  2. Select the + icon

  3. Select the client you want to create an invoice for

  4. Next to Items, select + icon

  5. Choose an existing item from the list of items and services or select New to create a new item

  6. Adjust the quantity as desired and select Save

  7. Repeat Steps 4–6 until you have added all of the items

Sending an estimate

  1. From the estimate page, select Send to client

  2. Complete the Send estimate fields:

    1. Send by: Choose whether you want to send this invoice via email or text message

    2. Let client pay with a credit card: Decide whether you want to allow this client to pay online using a credit card and check the box accordingly

    3. Select Send
