In this article, you will learn how to use the Workiz Message Center on the mobile app.

As part of your Workiz Phone plan, the Workiz Message Center is your all-in-one hub for text and email communications with your customers and teammates. The Workiz Message Center is available both on desktop and mobile, giving you all the communication tools you need no matter where you are.

Reading and replying to messages

  1. From the mobile app, select the Messages tab

  2. Select a conversation you want to read and reply to

  3. Read the message and select Type Something to enter your message as desired

  4. Select the Send icon and choose how you want to send this message:

    1. By Email: Send the message to the email address on file for this client

    2. By Text: Send the message to the phone number on file for this client


      Note: When messaging members of your team, you will also see an In App option. This means you can send a message directly to their Workiz Message Center.


Sending files and images

With the Workiz Message Center, you can also easily send files and images.

  1. From the conversation screen, select the attach icon and choose where you want to upload this attachment from:

    1. Take Photo: Use your device’s camera to take a photo

    2. Choose from Gallery: Select an image from your device’s photo library

    3. Choose from Library: Select a file from your device’s file library

Calling a client from a conversation

  1. From the conversation screen, select the phone icon in the upper-right corner and choose a calling method as desired:

    1. (Recommended) Call Using Workiz: Call this client using your Workiz Phone number


      Tip: Using your Workiz Phone number to call a client will ensure the call is recorded and logged in the job details.


    2. Use My Phone: Call this client using your device’s cellular number

Creating a job or lead from a message

Workiz also makes it simple to create jobs or leads right from the Workiz Message Center.

  1. From the Messages tab, select a new conversation from a prospective client

  2. Select Add Job or Add Lead as desired

  3. Complete the New Job or New Lead fields

  4. Select Create Job or Create Lead

Editing job details from a message

You can also edit details for an existing job in your Workiz account.

  1. From the Messages tab, select a conversation relating to an existing job

  2. From the message, select View Job

  3. Make any changes to this job as desired

Viewing client information from a conversation

The Workiz Message Center also provides you with quick access to client details.

  1. From the Messages tab, select a conversation

  2. Select the person icon in the upper-right corner

  3. Review the following information as desired:

    1. Total revenue

    2. Amount due

    3. Addresses

    4. Jobs (past, current, and future)

    5. Leads

    6. Invoices

    7. Estimates

    8. Client notes
