As you know, most clients search for local services through Google, and Google's Local Services listings are often the first thing that clients see when they search for home services online.
Once you connect your Workiz account to Google's Local Services Ads account, your listings will be highlighted with an additional “Book” option, which your customers can use to instantly book jobs with you right from the search results.
In Workiz, you'll receive a new booking notification to your inbox, letting you easily edit the job and assign it to the relevant technician, or communicate with the client.
Who can use the Google's Local Services integration?
Users who have a Google's Local Services account with a Google Guarantee.

How to connect Google's Local Services Ads to your Workiz account?
If you don’t have a Workiz account yet, you can easily sign up here.
If you have an account:
Go to the "Marketplace" from the top-right menu.
2. Search for the "Google's Local Services" integration and click on it.
3. Then click on the “Connect Google's Local Services” button on the upper right side.
If you don't have a Google's Local Services Ads account, you can start your application by clicking on the "New to Google's Local Services" blue button.
4. Set up the integration:
Step no. 1 - Match Your Google Listing
Enter the name and address of your business exactly as it appears on your Google listing.
Step no. 2 - Set Your Availability
Google's Local Services Ads shows potential clients your available booking slots according to your Workiz schedule, so you need to set your availability.
Set your working hours.
Set your availability method, the time slot length clients can book a job for, and the minimum notice time your team needs to be ready for a job (for example, you may decide not to allow same-day appointments).
This is how it will look from your client-side:
Step no. 3 - Add Job Types
Add the types of services that your business offers. You have to match the services you offer between your Workiz job types and Google's Local Services Ads. You can't define your own service types on Google's Local Services Ads.
Then, for each service, enter the minimum price clients should pay to get an estimate if they book with you.
For example, you can charge $50 for an estimate or offer a free estimate when you define it as $0. This is not the final price for the service, only the fee to perform an estimate.
Finally, click on the "Connect Schedule" button at the bottom of the page:
That’s it! Your setup is complete. In 3-4 days, the "Book" button will appear on your Local Services Ads listing.
Clients can now find your listing while searching for a service pro and book your service right away.
We'll send you an email once it's activated!
What happens after a job is booked?
Once a job is booked on your Google's Local Services Ads listing:
The job will automatically be added to your Workiz schedule for the selected time slot with the client and job info.
You'll get a notification and a message right into your Workiz inbox, letting you know about the new job.
From there, your dispatcher can easily edit the job and assign a technician.
3. You can also communicate with the client via text or phone, right from your Workiz Inbox.
