In this article, you will learn how to add files and images to a job using the Workiz mobile app.

Workiz allows you to upload files and images to jobs, estimates, and invoices that you can send to your clients as standalone files or as part of an estimate or invoice.

Tip: The Custom Fields add-on in Workiz takes files and images to the next level, allowing you to make attachments a requirement for all or specific jobs. You can also automatically include those custom fields on invoices and estimates.

How to upload attachments

  1. Open the job, estimate, or invoice you want to attach a file to

  2. Follow the step that corresponds with what you opened in Step 1

    1. Job: Select Attach

    2. Estimate or invoice: Select Attachments > Add attachment

  3. Choose where you want to upload this attachment from

    1. Take Photo

    2. Choose from Gallery

    3. Choose from Library

How to send attachments

Once you have uploaded a file to a job, estimate, or invoice, you can send it to your clients as part of an estimate or invoice.

  1. Find the file you uploaded and select Attach

  2. Follow the step that corresponds with what you want to send

    1. Estimate: Select Send to client > Send

    2. Invoice: Select the kebab menu (three vertical dots) icon > Send invoice > Send

Your client will receive a link to the client portal, where they can view the estimate or invoice with the attachment.
