In this article, you will learn how to update your call greeting and voicemail messages.

Workiz allows you to customize the messages your clients hear during incoming calls through the call flow builder. In order to update the messages for your call greeting and voicemail, you must already have an existing call flow.

Updating your call greeting message

  1. From the navigation bar, select Settings > Settings

  2. Under Calls & Texts, select Call flows

  3. Under Actions, select the edit button for the call flow you would like to update

  4. On the left side of your call flow, select Greeting

  5. Customize the message your clients will hear when dialing your number during business hours

    1. Choose Text-to-Speech or MP3 as desired

      1. Text-to-Speech: A voice assistant will read the message you enter into the text editor

      2. MP3: Record and upload your own audio file (MP3) for the system to play aloud

    2. Update the Greeting message as desired and select Save

Updating your voicemail message

  1. On the left side of your call flow, select Voicemail

  2. Customize your open-hours voicemail

    1. Choose Text-to-Speech or MP3 as desired

    2. Update the Voicemail message as desired and select Save

  3. On the right side of your call flow, select Voicemail

  4. Customize your closed-hours voicemail:

    1. Choose Text-to-Speech or MP3 as desired

    2. Update the Voicemail message as desired and select Save

  5. Once you’re satisfied with this call flow, select Save Call Flow to save your updates
