Using our online booking widget on your home service website? 

In this tutorial you’ll learn how to add a thank you page at the end of your Online Booking sequence, which will show you how many people completed your Online Booking form, in your Google Analytics.

How to add a thank you page to Online Booking in Workiz:

  1. From the top, right-hand side of your Workiz account, click on the Settings cogwheel.
  2. From the dropdown, select Settings.
    The Setting page opens. 
  3. Scroll down to Online Booking, located under the Integrations section. 
  4. Click on Online Booking.
    The Online Booking page opens.
    (Note: If you do not already have your Online Booking widget set up, you will need to set that up first.)
  5. Scroll down the page to the Thank you page: section.
  6. Add a link to the “Thank You page” you will direct users to (who have completed your Online Booking form), which is located on your website.  
    (The URL should have your required parameters that you need to track your Conversion Goal in Google Analytics.)
    (Important Note: Unlike the Online Booking Widget, this is not a standalone page that Workiz provides. This is only a feature relevant for those with an existing website.)

7. Click Save, when you are satisfied. 

Specify the Ad Group /Dynamic Ad Group, Your Online Booking Belongs to

This is helpful if you’re using an Online Booking form in multiple online campaigns, and want to understand the results (how many online bookings you have) that are associated with that campaign. For example, if you’re a carpet cleaning pro and have 3 campaigns running on Facebook using the Online Booking form: one for Monthly carpet cleaning, one for emergency cleaning jobs and one for Oriental rug cleaning, enabling this feature will let you know how many completed bookings you have for each campaign (not just clicks on the Online Booking widget feature)

How to Set Up Dynamic Ad Groups, for Your Existing Online Booking Widget:


Important Note: You must have existing ad groups and the Online Booking Widget set up in your Workiz account, in order to use this feature. You can learn how to set up ad groups, here and the Online Booking widget, here.)

If you need a dynamic ad group for one campaign:

  1. From the top, right-hand side of your Workiz account, click on the Settings cogwheel.
  2. From the dropdown, select Settings. The Setting page opens. 
  3. Scroll down to Online Booking, located under the Integrations section. 
  4. Click on Online Booking.
    The Online Booking page opens. (If you do not already have your Online Booking widget set up, you will need to set that up first.)
  5. Scroll down the page to the Apply ad group: section.
  6. Select the ad group, you’d like to assign to the ad which uses this Online Booking form.
    (Note: You can also add: ad_group=xxx to your link for dynamic tracking.)
  7. Click Save, when you’re satisfied.

If you need dynamic ad groups for multiple campaigns:

  1. From the top, right-hand side of your Workiz account, click on the Settings cogwheel.
  2. From the dropdown, select Settings.
    The Setting page opens. 
  3. Scroll down to Online Booking, located under the Integrations section. 
  4. Click on Online Booking.
    The Online Booking page opens.
    (If you do not already have your Online Booking widget set up, you will need to set that up first.)
  5. Scroll down the page to the Apply ad group: section.
  6. You must add: ad_group=xxx to your links to enable dynamic tracking, on multiple online booking forms.(For example: www.mycarpetcleaningwebsite.com/orientalrug&ad_group=google%20ppc)
  7. Click Save, when you’re satisfied.
  8. Now, any job / estimate / work booked from an online booking form that uses a dynamic ad group will include the connected Ad Group, within Workiz.
